This project was built to deliver treated water for needed communities (approx. 3,200 people) where the municipal water service is deficient.
For this project we delivered two (4) containerized sea water reverse osmosis systems, complete with pre-treatment, flush and post- treatment modules.
Each SWRO had a single pass, single stage, four (4) pressure vessel total, that contained twenty four (24) thin-film composite elements.
The system produces 100,000 GPD or 69.5.0 GPM of product water at 45% recovery.

This project was built to deliver treated water to a Lab of Shrimp reproduction and genetic Improvement Center

THE PROBLEM
Shortage of purified water, so well water had to be bought in tankers, and therefore increased costs in the production process. The client was looking for a way to reduce costs by optimizing their processes. The cost of water and its transfer to the plant represents a high impact in production cost.

The solution
ARKQUA® Customer acquired two ARKQUA systems, each capable to produce 132,000 GPD (500m3d) of purified water. Each system is mounted inside a 40' container, fully automatic. Integral Clean/flush system automatically flush piping and membranes with fresh water at shutdown. This subsystem is also utilized for periodic chemical cleaning of the membranes.

THE RESULT
Reduction of production costs by 50%, in addition the extra load driven by having to receive water distribution trucks loaded with water daily. Production time was significantly optimized, and water quality used for the development of nauplii and larvae was considerably improved. Having remote monitoring of the plant is a great benefit that allows to take proactive actions and minimized the risk of failure.

The four (4) systems supply water to living quarters exploration facility. Two of them on small towns supporting local population and others in the oil platform for drinking proporses of the exploration team
Four (4) skid mounted seawater reverse osmosis systems set to produce 3,000 GPD of product water.
This system had one a pre-treatment system that consisted of one (1) multimedia filter, one (1) antiscalant injection pump and one (1) ultraviolet lamp for desinfection.
The RO system had three (3) pressure vessels with a single membrane array.
We also integrated a post-treatment system that had one (1) re-mineralization tank and a chlorine injection pump.
