Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Systems

Brackish water is the middle ground between fresh water and sea water, it usually has a Total Dissolved Solids concentration (TDS) between 3,000 and 10,000 ppm.

Fresh Water Reverse Osmosis Systems

The Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Systems Series (BWRO) are designed to provide high purity water under the rigorous demands of continuous operation and harsh environments. These are premium quality systems engineered to be the best the industry can offer.

The brackish water reverse osmosis systems include an array of standard features making them suitable for most commercial and industrial applications. They are also available with optional operational and control features and ancillary equipment giving you the capability to completely customize your system.

Commercial & Industrial Reverse Osmosis Systems

Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Systems series (BWRO) offers to fit needs in Small, Medium and Large size projects in the industrial and commercial industry. Brackish water Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems can come with Solar, Hybrid and/or Containerized option.

Whatever your high purity water application, the BWRO Series can be your solution. We offer the following pre-engineer systems however can customized your system based on your water needs.

BENEFITS

Brackish reverse osmosis systems are intended to operate at pressures more than 200 psi, requiring more energy from higher-pressure pumps. TDS levels in brackish water generally range from 1,000 to 10,000 parts per million. The system is built to withstand higher pressures than a standard RO system. This is the reverse of the normal osmosis process.

Freshwater may also be desalinated via reverse osmosis and distillation, although not as well as brackish water due to its greater salt concentration.

The Best Brackish Water Desalination

BW Brackish Water Desalination is a procedure for treating brackish water, which has higher saline levels than freshwater but lower levels than seawater. This technology uses modern filtration and purification techniques to eliminate contaminants from brackish water, making it appropriate for drinking, irrigation, and industrial usage.

Pre-filtration of brackish water removes suspended particles, sediments, and bigger pollutants. This initial treatment protects downstream equipment and ensures that the desalination system operates at peak efficiency. The pre-filtered brackish water is then exposed to reverse osmosis, a procedure that uses pressure to push water molecules through a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane selectively eliminates salts, minerals, and other dissolved contaminants, resulting in permeate, or cleaned water. The permeate goes through post-treatment processes including pH adjustment and disinfection to meet quality standards and assure its safety for consumption or other applications.

Benefits of the Brackish Water Desalination

BW Brackish Water Desalination facilitates the efficient use of brackish water resources that would otherwise go unexplored. Communities can reduce their reliance on traditional freshwater supplies by processing brackish water to remove pollutants.

When compared to other water sources like groundwater pumping or surface water extraction, BW Brackish Water Desalination provides a more environmentally sustainable solution. Desalination helps to protect the environment by limiting the depletion of natural water supplies and the reliance on energy-intensive purification technologies.

Brackish water sources frequently include pollutants and minerals that, when ingested improperly, can degrade water quality and pose health hazards. BW brackish water desalination produces high-quality, potable water free of dangerous contaminants, thereby protecting human health and well-being.

Many municipalities rely on BW Brackish Water Desalination to supplement their freshwater supply, particularly in areas where freshwater resources are few or contaminated. Desalinated brackish water offers communities a consistent and safe drinking water source, ensuring access to clean water for home use and sanitation.

BW Brackish Water Desalination promotes agricultural irrigation in locations where traditional freshwater sources are limited or saline. Desalination systems boost agricultural output by giving farmers access to treated brackish water, allowing them to cultivate in arid or semi-arid environments.
